Adam Forbes is a guitarist and singer/songwriter based in Washington, DC. He has been playing guitar since he was 9 years old when he received his first guitar for Christmas. In addition to doing solo acoustic performances, he also is the lead guitarist and singer in local DC bands Sidewalk Soul and Social Musica. He frequently performs at venues throughout the DMV, as well as in other parts of the county. His styles and influences include a wide range of performers including Pete Townshend, Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, Gordon Lightfoot, Jimi Hendrix, Chris Cornell and Eddie Vedder (amongst many, many others). His style blends baritone vocals with both aggressive strumming and meticulous finger picking.

Matt Benden is the lead vocalist and manager for the Nu Direction Band (www.nudirection.net), which has been playing gigs up and down the East Coast since 1999. Matt is currently playing solo acoustic shows in Leesburg, Markham and Manassas Virginia and will also be touring in Cocoa Beach and Key West Florida during the month of May of 2026.

The Greatest Beer in the World (a tribute), a west-coast style DIPA. The story goes a little something like this...

A long time ago me and my brother Nick here, we was chasin' shiny new beers. All of a sudden, we drank the best beer in the world, and my soul was forever HOPPED! 

This is not The Greatest Beer in the World. This is just a tribute, full of classic American hop aroma and Tenacious bitterness. And the peculiar thing is this my friends: the beer we drank on that fateful night, it didn't actually taste anything like this beer.

Combined with our 80s Night Party, seems like a fitting tribute!

Andrew has spent the last 15 years honing his craft, blending smooth pop vocals with intricate guitar work. His setlist includes hits from the 70's to present day, with a special emphasis on pop, rock, and soul.

 In his solo acts, you can hear him build full songs with his loop pedal, which highlight his skill and passion.

Joe Downer is an award-winning Americana artist hailing from Washington D.C. 

Drawing influence from an electric mix of rock and folk acts such as Soundgarden, Tom Petty, Jon Foreman and the Avett Brothers, just to name a few. Joe Downer has carved out a place in today’s landscape of singer/songwriter Americana with his unique sound and story-telling ability. 

Ryan is a local musician born and raised in Lake Ridge. He plays classic rock n roll music as well as his own original tunes.

Andrew Kuhens is an absolute powerhouse on guitar, with over 20 years of electrifying stages with amazing originals and unforgettable covers. He's a master of tone and a fearless player, bringing raw energy and relentless passion to every single note.

Singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Matty Davis has been performing in various positions in various original and cover bands in the mid-Atlantic for 30 years. Now most often a solo performer, Matty utilizes topflight musicianship and a passion for crowd engagement to perform his originals and an expansive repertoire of covers to venues everywhere, carrying the love and tradition of Kara & Matty D forward forever.

Water's End's Biergarten Hero starts off with the VERY best European malts and hops and we add a little know-how and patience.  In traditional Kölsch tradition, we use a true Kölsch bier yeast strain and a fermentation regimen. Kölsch is a hybrid beer style, meaning that it uses ale yeast and is cold conditioned like a lager. The best of both worlds, if you ask us! Conor Churchill, born and raised in Tallahassee has been songwriting for about ten years. Playing a mix of originals and soulful versions of favorite classics with a voice that captivates. He has all that’s needed to please any audience. His original music can be best described as introspective folk/roots rock. He takes you along on a journey through his life with the songs that he shares. His sweeping melody’s, powerful storytelling and thoughtful word captivates any audience/listening room he finds himself in. Zack Baize is a Lake Ridge local and beer club member! He has played in several bands in his hometown of Louisville, KY and Northern Virginia over the years but took time off after having kids. Recently inspired by some friends to get back out and play live, Water's End seemed like an obvious place to start.
