Lucky Endings was years in the making! This collaboration started when two of Trouvaille's Founders, Ricky and Cody, came into Water's End as customers. They made their mark on Water's End history when they picked up the barrel that was used in our first barrel aged beer project. A condition of retrieving this Knob Creek barrel from the heart of the Bourbon Trail in Kentucky was to one day make a collaboration beer when they had a brewery of their own. It was when they joined forces with Stephen and Greg that they were truly off to the races; Trouvaille was born in 2022 and it was time to make good on a years-old agreement.
A few months ago we met up at Trouvaille Brewing Company in Haymarket, VA to brainstorm what beer we wanted to brew together and decided on an Imperial Sour that has nearly 300lbs of fresh mango and pineapple purée. Shortly after, we all got back together and brewed on the Potomac Mills brewhouse; it was then and there that the name "Lucky Endings" was decided for this massive, refreshing sour. Lucky Endings borrows from both of the brewery names, Trouvaille means "a lucky find" combined with the Water's End slogan of "where water ends and beer begins". Lucky Endings will be available at both Water's End Brewery and Trouvaille Brewing Company. Coming in at over 10%ABV with an approachable tartness in each sip that leaves you wanting another. This is a beer you won't want to miss out on!

From 1933 to 1942 tens of thousands of men supported their families with hard work outdoors that many weren’t prepared for to provide these national treasures. Join staff from Prince William Forest Park and Prince William Office of Historic Preservation for this Take a Sip of History on the Civilian Conservation Corps.
This is a joint program with the Prince William Historic Preservation Foundation. In honor of this ongoing collaboration, W.E. will be brewing a special Sip of History beer. 10% of draft beer sales of this brew on May 1st will be donated to the Prince William Historic Preservation Foundation.
