The Greatest Beer in the World (a tribute), a west-coast style DIPA. The story goes a little something like this...

A long time ago me and my brother Nick here, we was chasin' shiny new beers. All of a sudden, we drank the best beer in the world, and my soul was forever HOPPED! This is not The Greatest Beer in the World. This is just a tribute, full of classic American hop aroma and Tenacious bitterness. And the peculiar thing is this my friends: the beer we drank on that fateful night, it didn't actually taste anything like this beer.

RASPBERRY WHEAT / FRUITED ALE / 5% ABV (COMING 9/9/26)

Raspberry Wheat is full-bodied with a soft peach hue and an inviting burst of fresh fruit on the nose. 220lbs of fresh raspberries lead the way and linger on the tongue. This beer is easy-drinking at 5% ABV and sweet enough for the warmer months ahead.

PRINCE WILLIAM PILSNER / PILS / 4.8% ABV

When sipping on this Pilsner, you'll notice a pronounced minerality and a soft, but dry, body. W.E. used two types of malt, European Pilsner and Acidulated Malt, then two hop varieties, German Magnum and Saphir. A clean malt flavor is apparent on the dry finish, with a touch of yeast character that comes from our Franconian Lager yeast strain. The malts and yeast set the stage for the star of the show: The German Saphir hops. A bold, German, Noble hop character with a subtle touch of lemongrass. Most of the hop character comes from late hop additions and dry hopping. This refreshing Pilsner is a balanced lager beer with a glorious European hop-expression. It is deemed "The King" of brewers' beer that we hope you'll enjoy. Prosit!

SIP OF HISTORY / PRE-PROHIBITION LAGER / 5% ABV

The W.E. and Prince William Historic Preservation collaboration continues with another Sip of History brew. Historic beer styles all have one thing in common; they are uniquely crafted by their locality and available resources. The Sip of History: American Pre-Prohibition Lager is no exception and is the product of German immigrants adapting to American resources. A familiar pale yellow color and sessionable ABV of German Pale Lager are met with a distinct corn sweetness and a slightly more pronounced bitterness of the American hops. These German immigrants also knew that it was the yeast that brewed great beer so they brought that from home. A Franconian Lager strain completes the beer as it perfectly compliments the American hops and sweeter flavor. A yeast that was among the most popular through this time until it fell out of favor in the 1950s and disappeared from the brewing landscape. That's until a box labelled TUM 35 was recently found in the Technical University of Munich. Thankfully that strain made its way to Jasper Yeast Labs in Sterling, VA. who has resuscitated the once forgotten creator of beer.

DILLINGHAM ABBEY / BELGIAN TRIPLE / 8% ABV

As a "tip of our hat" to the Monastic brewers of Belgium, we are proud to present 'Dillingham Abbey', a Belgian-style Tripel. Dillingham Abbey has a rich, malty sweetness and a firm, but pleasant hop presence that creates a contemplative drinking experience. You'll notice a somewhat floral and coriander-like spice character as well as some soft notes of honey and melon. No actual spices or fruit were used in the creation of this beer; those flavor notes are a direct result of a warm fermentation with our house Belgian yeast.

WESTRIDGE / WEST COAST IPA / 6% ABV

Named for one of our favorite local neighborhoods, this straight-forward West-Coast style IPA is loaded with Simcoe, Citra, Chinook and Amarillo hops. Hop character dominates throughout, from the bold aromas of citrus and resin to the assertively bitter finish.

W22 / AMBER LAGER / 5% ABV

Inspired by the W22 Amber Ale, this crisp, easy drinking lager has the same nutty caramel sweetness that's balanced and dry while capturing the clean profile of a lager. We used the same recipe as our ale only changing our house ale yeast for our lager yeast. Extended time in our horizontal lagering tank helps us achieve that clarity and clean finish you look for in your favorite lager.

BARREL AGED “THE HEAVYWEIGHT” / IMPERIAL STOUT / 9.8% ABV

The Heavyweight has returned to the ring! This is a MASSIVE, complex and rich Imperial Stout. It was made with eight rounds of malts including Pale Chocolate, Malted Oats and Roasted Barley and then carefully aged in freshly-emptied A. Smith Bowman Bourbon Barrels. With notes of baker's cocoa, silky toffee, chocolate fudge, vanilla and coconut, this barrel-aged Imperial Stout is a KNOCKOUT!
